About

Curated by Lisa Hall

Lisa Hall is a London based sound artist, curator and researcher exploring urban environments using audio interventions and performative actions. Through her practice she explores methods of interruption and sonic strategies to interrogate the day-to-day environment, proposing new behaviours and encounters in order to make space for something new.

Part of Un-Earthed Festival

Acts of Air is part of CRiSAP's Un-Earthed festival programe, an ongoing series of events from Summer 2020, directed by Prof. Cathy Lane. This festival of listening and environment is a critical celebration of our relationships with the environments that we share with other people and other species. Globally, socially, politically and culturally things are changing faster than we possibly could have imagined. This new reality invites us to reconsider aspects of our lives and our entanglements with every-thing and every-body.
