❍ Instructions

  • Seek out a working mechanical extractor fan in your local urban area
  • Listen carefully to it for 30 seconds
  • Take a portrait photograph of the cassette unit
  • Write an onomatopoetic text representing what was heard, in any language
  • Share this photograph and text on Instagram tagging @acts.of.air and #breathing_machinery, or share it via email to crisap@arts.ac.uk
